Sharing music with others is something very special. It can turn a frown into a smile, bring tears to the eyes, and make fast friends out of complete strangers. Simply put, music changes lives. But music doesn’t start with the strum of a guitar or the bow stroke of a violin. Music starts in the heart; it starts when you put goodness into the world and into the lives of others. Musicians don’t just make music, they move the mind and the spirit, often never knowing the impact they’ve had.

Con Moto is an Italian music term meaning “with movement”. That’s what Con Moto Music Centre is about. Moving forward, and always working to improve ourselves and our community. Because learning an instrument isn’t just about music, it’s about being better today than you were yesterday, and even better the day after that. We believe that music makes better people, and better people make a better world.

Founded by Adam and Valerie Willey, Con Moto Music Centre aims to make the power of music accessible to as many people as possible in the Comox Valley and surrounding areas. We do this through expert instruction in an unparalleled variety of instruments, group classes and ensembles, masterclasses and performances from local and touring artists.
